Rahul Sundar

I am a PhD graduate from the Department of Aerospace Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Madras. Currently, I serve as a Scientist II - AI/ML at Verisk Catastrophe and Risk Solutions, where I build the next generation of climate models utilizing generative AI and computer vision.

During my doctoral studies, I worked as a research assistant in the Biomimetics and Dynamics lab at IIT Madras under the guidance of Prof. Sunetra Sarkar. My work exists at the intersection of fluid dynamics, scientific machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
